MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Draft software test plans and test cases with clarity and coverage
· Execute UAT testing of the web portal
· Identify functional, logical and performance problems in the portal
· Perform post fixing testing and regression testing for confirmation
· Daily reporting of completed tickets and progress
· Design, develop and maintain automatic test scripts using JMeter, Selenium and Postman
· Draft test reports if required
· Liaise with developers, product manager or business analyst about the defects identified
· Collect evidence of the failure and present it in the tickets
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology preferred.
· Candidates from other disciplines with substantial experience will be considered.
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in Software QA roles.
· Good understanding of user experience and web portal acceptance criteria is required.
· Familiar with Software QA Processes and Project Management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
· Able to draft a Test Plan, Execute, and write a Test Report.
· Strong Experience in automatic testing tools such as JMeter, Selenium and Postman is a bonus
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
· Flexible in working hours and able to conduct ad-hoc post-deployment testing at night.
· Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
· Being able to have good attention to detail and have a strong demand on quality.
· Highly responsible, quick learner, and self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
