About The Role
Quadax is seeking a highly skilled QA Analyst Lead to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test strategies and plans for complex, enterprise-level projects. You will lead a matrixed team of QA Analysts, guiding testing efforts to ensure the highest quality standards are met. Your expertise in test automation and manual testing will be instrumental in accelerating our development processes and enhancing our testing procedures. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including software developers and stakeholders, to ensure that deliverables align with functional specifications and quality expectations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to quality assurance in a fast-paced environment. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, initially requiring onsite presence five days a week for the first six months, transitioning to a four-day onsite schedule thereafter. Candidates residing within Ohio (outside of commutable distance), Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Missouri, Wisconsin, South Dakota, South Carolina, Nebraska, or North Carolina are preferred for remote work options.
Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant QA technical work experience
- Experience in software testing, including developing test strategies, plans, scripts, and documenting results
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Experience working in EDI and/or a .NET development environment
- Knowledge of various testing methodologies, tools, and types
- Strong technical skills and proficiency with testing automation tools
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Strong communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement test strategies and plans for complex, enterprise-level projects
- Lead a team of QA Analysts by designing testing plans, tracking progress, and overseeing execution
- Identify test requirements from specifications, map test cases, and design comprehensive test coverage for EDI applications
- Execute manual and automated test cases, document test results, and report defects
- Communicate testing status, issues, and results effectively to project leadership and stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with EDI stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet functional and design specifications
- Work with software development teams on departmental and cross-departmental projects to ensure quality standards
- Adhere to Agile development practices and contribute to continuous improvement of QA standards
- Stay updated with new application features to conduct thorough end-to-end testing for release stability
- Perform other duties as assigned to support project success
